enjoying other people’s joy

I have been rooting hard for Ecuador in the World Cup because I know so many of my neighbors in ridgewood are from there. Tonight they progressed to the next round and there was an impromptu parade. I can still hear cars honking (celebratory) from my window 3 hours later. So many happy kids running around.
